1960

The restaurant “Plavi podrum“ was opened in Osijek, which became the starting point for the entire business of the RAVLIC group. To this day, it offers its guests a superb experience of tasting the local specialties, among which the lamb from the grill especially stands out.

1989

The restaurant “Plavi podrum“ was renovated, in order to make the gastronomic delight of the visitors even more complete.

1994

The first butcher shop RAVLIC was opened at the Osijek marketplace, and soon, there was need for expansion, so new butcher shops were opened.

The beginning of the building of the meat industry – slaughterhouse RAVLIC was opened near Osijek, in the area between Josipovac and Petrijevci.

2000
At the beginning of the new millennium, the construction of a modern building for meat processing was completed, which opened up the possibility for the RAVLIC company to offer its customers traditional Slavonian products, in a new and modern way.

2006

The RAVLIC group was founded, comprised of Mesna industrija RAVLIC and AGRO RAVLIC.

2008

A new phase in business has begun – the new slaughterhouse was opened, harmonized with the EU and the Republic of Croatia standards. The modern slaughter line has a capacity of 180 pigs and 35 beef cattle per hour.

2010

The 50th anniversary of successful business of the RAVLIC company was celebrated.

A new step forward was made. Company RAVLIC UTD, owner Zlatko Ravlic, was closed down, and the business was taken over by the newly founded company Mesna industrija RAVLIC d.o.o. Osijek.

2015

We implemented the IFS (International Featured Standards). This standard establishes the base criteria that the norms in the food industry must satisfy. Application of the IFS ensures the standardization and stability of guaranteed quality.

40th butcher shop opened in Zagreb, in a building „Mamutica“ located in neighborhood Travno.

2017.

The construction of the line for cutting and packing fresh meat in Petrijevci, next to existing modern slaughterhouses and meat processing plants is completed.
