Our philosophy, also incorporated into our slogan ‘Kvaliteta nas vodi – RAVLIC proizvodi!’ (‘Guided by the quality – RAVLIC products!’), proceeds from the fact that we stand behind all of our products with our name.

In its production, the RAVLIC company opted for the following path: we use our own cattle from the Croatian livestock, our own breeding, our own processing, and our own knowledge, which are being incorporated into all of our products. Our products are manufactured according to our own recipes, and some of those recipes, for the production of traditional Slavonian products, are more than 200 years old. In the production, we use only high-quality ingredients which have preserved all of their nutritional properties, and richness of flavor.

The production process is strictly controlled by high hygienic technological process control methods. One of the basic quality parameters is product safety, which is in our selection of products guaranteed by the HACCP system and the IFS.

HACCP – (English: Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is an analysis of hazards and establishment of critical control points with the purpose of prevention and control of possible product contamination. The HACCP system enables the manufacturers to ensure the food health safety by controlling the production process from its beginning until its end. It ensures prevention and control in all phases of production, not just through examination on the final product. The production of supervision plans and the process of implementation of the HACCP system require a team work of different profile experts (microbiologists, chemists, technical maintenance experts, veterinarians etc.).

The IFS (English: International Featured Standards) establish the base criteria that the norms in the food industry must satisfy. Application of the IFS ensures the standardization and stability of guaranteed quality, and the criteria of food products safety management system, criteria of good practices, such as production practice, and the criteria of establishment of the HACCP system are satisfied through the IFS norms. The aforementioned norms are made and publicised by the IFS International Technical Committee. The currently present norms are: IFS Food, IFS Food Store, IFS Broker, IFS PACsecure, IFS Logistics, IFS HPC and IFS Cash & Carry. The IFS Food standard, which is implemented into the Meat industry Ravlić business processes, covers the following areas: senior management responsibility, quality and food safety management system, resource management, planning of production process, measurements, analysis and improvements, as well as food defence.

With the successful implementation of the HACCP system and the IFS, we guarantee the integral safety and stability of the guaranteed quality of our products.
